Yes, that is an 8 year old PD100. And, yes, we had a blast. The camera was quite helpful in reviewing the moves we made with the camera head and dolly.
Well, as they say on the Red website, there are millions of possible changes, so I'll wait and see what actually develops. More importantly, when it develops. They have a way of dragging things out and those are a bunch of different products to fully develop/manufacture. I'm not sure how much of a draw it is to have a DSLR/motion picture dual purpose camera. The next thing I am shooting is film, hopefully 35 mm.
Old media, multi-platform distribution, social, interactivity, 3D TV, curation, content strategy, surviving in the new media economy...welcome to my circle of confusion.
